TLC Phoenix Concert reviews
CMF is Def
Thank you for bringing JANET JACKSON to TLC this year. We don't normally see Artists who we mentioned in past reviews, and it was refreshing for us. The crowd definitely rocked and more people came to TLC. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!
The beginning of each show had added a bit of Jazz which I liked, and there were a mix of genres to reach every age range in attendance as well. I heard comments through the crowd that there are too many or a redundancy of announcements, although I found the ones regarding the event where Zapp performed to be helpful. It would also be advantageous to announce when Artist listed would not be performing, or that someone would in their stead. I had no idea Fantasia was out and Keyshia Cole was performing, although Keyshia was very humble and sweet. The order should've been changed so that Keyshia performed before Anthony Hamilton.
The DJs (especially, and I am biased, DJ Ellery) are always a hit and breaks up the monotony of sitting through intermission, waiting for the next Artist to come on stage. At the end of evenings, PLEASE announce that the final group will be performing. Once Janet Jackson finished, the majority of the crowd, including me, left, because we heard nothing about the O'Jays, and were unsure if they were in attendance. Perhaps listing all the Artists performing for the evening on the big screen several times throughout the event will end the confusion, and also let attendees know who's actually there or not there.
I look forward to hearing the Line-Up annually and deciding to go. My experience at TLC is ALWAYS enjoyable. Lastly, I still yearn for groups/Artists like Zapp, Dru Hill, Teddy Riley, Bootsy Collins, Parliament, KC & the Sunshine Band, etc., be given a chance to rock out! Do yo thang, TLC! Other than that, Rock On!
